The report had it that faithfuls and loyalists of the ministry of Prophet Bushiri had attested to the healing power of the "blood". "Prophet Bushiri had attested to the healing power of the "blood". The report by the MalawiVoice.com has however come under disrepute after several alleged members of the said church took to social media to debunk the claims.

One Jennifer Kays who is a self-professed "Die Hard ECG" member called out the publication.

Another user, McBrian Chisanga also called out the publication.
