After limping off in Germany's Euro 2016 defeat to France, Jerome Boateng has taken to a vacation with his family to cool off.
The German-Ghanaian footballer who also doubles as a defender for the Bundesliga team, Bayern Munich, posted photos of himself with his family on vacation on his social media pages.
The former Manchester City player also posted a photo of his family who were with him on vacation. The defender was flanked by his daughter, Lamia Boateng and Soley Boateng alongside his wife Sherin Senler.
Jerome Boateng had banned his wife and children from travelling to watch him during Euro 2016 because 'the risk of a terror attack is too big'. It only seems right that the player who is now recovering from his injury would spend time with his family.
Jerome and brother KP Boateng recently visited Usain Bolt to wish him well ahead of the Rio Olympic Games.
