Police in E/R arrest man with 30 bags of "Wee"

A 34-year-old drug peddler, Jonathan Dada has been arrested by the Asamankese police for the illegal possession of 10 bags of compressed leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.

According to police reports, the suspect got arrested at Empekom, a suburb of Asamankese in the Eastern region in an attempt to transport the bags of weed to Dodowa in the Greater Accra region as Asamankese Divisional Police Commander Chief Superintendent Wisdom Akorli revealed they "became suspicious of the activities of the three suspects. They were actually standing behind a taxi cab in the darkness in an attempt to load the bags so we approached them but two managed to escape".

So far, the exhibits will be sent to a laboratory for examination as investigations begin into the matter.
