NDC "claps" for Nana's over one-factory-one-district pledge

General secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has revealed that Nana Addo's one factory in every district promise is "feasible".

Asiedu Nketiah's only worry has to do with how the opposition party seeks to make that promise come true arguing that the campaign promise lacks clarity.

Is Nana Akufo-Addo going to create the environment for individuals to open the factories or the state is now going to do business. I’m confused because I know the NPP is capitalist oriented. Even as an individual, I have three block factories so I choose to open more in other districts and boast that I have established factories in districts,” he scoffed.

Nana Addo had vowed to make industrialisation the cornerstone of his policy of economic transformation. But the NDC rubbished the promise by the opposition leader describing it as an election promise.
