Fire ravages boys dorm of Northern School of Business

A fire outbreak at the boys dormitory of the Northern School of Business in the Northern Region has injured three students.

Reports indicate that the outbreak occurred when students were having classes on Thursday as the Northern regional public relations officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Paul Aikens say the fire caused extensive damages to the dormitory.

About 17 double beds have gotten burnt, the ceilings have caved in, the mattress are all burnt and even the walls are showing signs of a possible collapse,” he revealed.

Authorities of the school have been compelled to send home some of the boarding students as investigations begin into the actual cause of the fire.
