Ghanaian actor, Abraham Attah has been announced to receive an honorary award at the 4 edition of the Africa Youth Excellence Awards.

Abraham Attah set to bag another award

The event has been scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 23, 2016 in Worcester Massachusetts in the U.S.

Abraham Attah who continues to receive international attention and acclamation for his sterling acting talent joins a list of African youth who are excelling in their fields of endeavour.

According to the organizers of the awards, the focus of the African Youth Excellence Awards is to highlight the accomplishments of “pursuers” in the areas of art, education, information technology, entrepreneurship, innovation, and humanitarianism.

The AYE defines a “pursuer” as a young person who is striving to gain or accomplish an extraordinary project aimed at highlighting Africa in a positive way. A Pursuer is simply a future achiever.

The teen star caught the eye of the public after his impressive performance in Netflix’s Game of Thrones in 2015 which won him the Best Young actor at the Venice Film Festival.  He is currently on the cast of Shane Carruth's third film, The Modern Ocean and is set to join the cast of the upcoming Marvel film Spider-Man: Homecoming.
