President John Dramani Mahama is in Kigali, Rwanda, for the 27th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly of Heads of State and Government.
The president on Saturday, July 16 hosted a special working session for colleague Heads of State on the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals within the framework of the African Union’s Agenda 2063 in his capacity as Co-Chair of the UN Eminent Persons on SDGs.

Accompanying the president are minister for foreign affairs and regional integration, Hanna Tetteh and other state officials. He is expected home on Monday, July 18.
