According to research, people who've gone through a particularly promiscuous phase before settling down might just want to keep that information to themselves.

A  Superdrug Online Doctor survey report found that the most 'desirable' number of past sexual partners to have had is no more than 14 for women and no more than 15 for men.

Although it's 2016 and some may feel that this view is outdated, it turns out that your sexual history can affect the way someone might feel about you.

Yet, having too few sexual partners is also a turn-off, also according to the same study.

Although the number of sexual partners someone must have before being tagged as promiscuous differs from country to country, it is still important to have this discussion in order to enter into other important sexual talks like STIs with your partner.
