Disgruntled workers of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) are pointing fingers at president Mahama over government's resolve not to publish the timetable for the erratic power situation in Ghana.
These workers reveal that government has warned management of ECG not to announce the timetable though they have prepared it. Chairman of the junior staff workers union of the ECG , Samuel Tetteh Agbetor alleges that government is exposing the ECG to undue attacks from the public.

When people get angry, they attack workers of the ECG. So we are pleading with the president to be honest with the situation and tell Ghanaians the truth. I know for a fact that the timetable for load shedding is ready but the president has blocked it,” he alleged.
Meanwhile, government is yet to respond to the accusations of the ECG as steps are being put in place to minimize the effects of the current power crisis.
