Photos: Pastor caught sleeping with married woman

A pastor has reportedly been caught sleeping with a married woman in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.

According to reports in the Nigerian media, the pastor, Prophet Obi O. of Anchor Restoration Church, was stripped to his underwear by angry residents.

He was made to hold his church’s banner and then paraded through the streets.

Some social media users condemned the pastor‘s conduct, saying that he had committed sin against God and the church.

“Serves him right. If he calls himself a man of God, he should behave like one at all times. If ordinary people like me commit such a sin, one would understand...but for a whole pastor?” one commenter said.

Others , however, condemned the decision to strip him naked.

“…the pastor did wrong; as a pastor, it is very bad to do such thing, but the people that disgraced him have also committed a very big sin against the Church of Christ.  If they were Christians, what they did is very wrong,” another commenter said.
