JHS boy commits suicide over a girl in B/A

An 18-year-old junior high school (JHS) student, Richard Damale has allegedly committed suicide over a supposed failed relationship with a girl in an uncompleted building at Asuakwa in the Sunyani municipality. Richard, a final year student at the Garrison School is reported to have been found lifeless with bruises around his neck by the police after the assembly man of the Asuakwa electoral area, Emanuel Kaba,filed an official report at the Sunyani municipal police.

A note found beside the body read, ‘God forgive me my sins and goodbye Juliet. We shall meet again,” making the police suspect that Richard Damale hanged himself possibly because of his love with a lady. The body has since been deposited at the Brong-Ahafo Regional Hospital for autopsy.

Meanwhile, ASP Christopher Tawiah, B/A Regional Police spokesman,reveals that investigations are been conducted over the alleged suicide.
