Government has denied reports making the rounds that the electricity company of Ghana (ECG) has published a timetable for load shedding describing the post as a "hoax".
The supposed load shedding time table was seen making the rounds on social media - a development which saw ECG maintaining that such a timetable has not been published.
In what seems to be an emphasis on ECG's position, government through a Twitter post revealed: "Don't fall for " LOAD SHEDDING GUIDE" -we have confirmed with the ElectricityCoGh : the document is a Hoax!
Meanwhile, some workers of ECG have claimed that President John Mahama had blocked plans by the company to announce a timetable.
