Two of the cell break escapees rearrested

Two of the six fugitives who escaped from the Abofuor Police Station on Tuesday July 20, 2016 have been re-arrested by the police.

The re-arrested suspects were identified by the police as Kofi Agyare, aka Bongo, and Iddrisu Yahaya, alias K2.

According to the Offinso District police command in the Ashanti region, the two were arrested at a village close to the Abofuor forest after a tip-off from residents in the area.

Meanwhile, the district police commander, Superintendent Michael Boateng told Daily Graphic that they are still searching for the other four escapees. He gave their names as Kwame Frimpong, aka Rambo; Pasoley Mahmoud, Baba Evans and Akwasi Grumah.
