Sunday marked the fourth anniversary of former President John Atta Mills death.
He died on July 24, 2012, after a prolonged battle with cancer.

The president of Zambia died in August 2008.
2. Lansana Conte, 74
The president of Guinea died in December 2008 of an undisclosed ailment.
3. Joao Barnado Viera, 69
The president of Guinea-Bissau died in March 2009 in a bomb attack that was said to have been a retaliatory attack by soldiers.
4. Omar Bongo Ondimba, 73
The president of Gabon died of a heart attack in June 2009.
5. Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, 58
The president of Nigeria died in office in May 2010 of reported kidney and heart problems.
6. Muammar Gaddafi, 69
The Libyan head of state was killed by Western-backed rebels in an uprising in 2011.
7. Malam Bacai Sanha, 64
The president of Guinea-Bissau died in January 2012 at a hospital in France.
8. Bingu wa Mutharika, 78
The president of Malawi died in April 2012 of cardiac arrest.
9. Meles Zenawi, 57
The president of Ethiopia died in April 2012 at a hospital in Belgium.
10. Michael Sata, 77
The president of Zambia died in October 2014 of throat complications.
