Former president of Malawi, Joyce Banda has revealed that the late President Mills, during her term of office,advised her to fear God and seek knowledge from above.

Joyce Banda says her first encounter at the Synagogue church in Nigeria left a lasting impression on her. Speaking at a lecture in Cape Coast in commemoration of the 4th anniversary of the departure of the law professor, Mrs. Banda described the late Mills as “ a true leader who feared God and led his people by the ways of God”.
