President John Dramani Mahama will give all funeral donations of his late mother Hajia Abiba Nnaba to the National Cardiothoracic Centre in Accra.
This was revealed in a statement issued by the presidency.
The statement said the late Hajia Abiba Nnaba’s funeral will be held at the forecourt of the state house in Accra on Sunday, July 31, and will attract some foreign heads of state.
It had earlier been planned to hold at the president’s hometown of Bole.
“The dress code for the funeral is black and white, the statement said.
Hajia Nnaba died on June 15 following a short ailment and was buried two days later in her hometown of Busunu in the West Gonja District of the Northern Region.

Hundreds of mourners from all across the country joined the President John Mahama and his family to pay their respect to Hajia Nnaba in a ceremony that was officiated by the chief imam of Busunu, Alhaji Ibrahim Iddrisu.
