The lawyer of the two Montie FM panellists, George Loh has expressed disappointed about the sentencing his clients received.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday, July 27, handed the pair, Alistair Nelson and Godwin Ako Gunn, a four-month jail term along with Salifu Maase (alias Mugabe), the host of the show where they made contemptuous statements.
Although he said he was disappointed, Loh claims that the ruling did not surprise him. In court, he prayed the judges in a bid to get a lesser sentence since his clients were first-time offenders and describe the sentence as harsh.
