In the past few years, a lot of reality TV shows have sprung up in search for star-quality talents. Some of these reality shows have been very successful in unearthing these raw talents and turning them into household names.
However, some of the winners of these shows fail to sustain the limelight and soon become forgotten pieces of the past only to be remembered in history lessons.
Yen.com.gh takes a look at some celebrities who were birthed from reality TV but have since lost their grip on the limelight.
Justice won the maiden edition of stars of the future in 2007 and has since gone mute. In 2010, he was reportedly scheduled to release an album but not a lot was heard about it.
Emmanuel won stars of the future in 2011 and after releasing a couple of gospel songs, nothing has been heard of the singer since.
Alex, after his participation in Big brother Africa made headlines for months with his own reality show, I’m In Love With Bomaye, but has vanished into thin air shortly after the show ended.
After representing Ghana at the Big Brother Africa reality show, Mimi tried her hands on music and succeeded with a couple of hits like Tattoo and Leave Me alone. She is now married to Nana Micheals, organizer of Golden Movie Awards but has been low key herself.
Cynthia Appiah Kubi (Cee)
Cee after taking part in TV3’s Mentor, became a gospel sensation when she combined forces with Isaac and Ampong to churn out a few hits before going MIA in the music industry.
