Family of deceased Highlife musician, Daasebre Gyamenah maintains they will not accept an Islamic burial for the deceased musician.
Media reports had earlier indicated that Daasebre will be buried today - claims the family has rejected stating they wanted to conduct a Christian burial for Daasebre Gyamenah because he was a royal from the New Juaben Traditional Area.
Daasebreh, been a Muslim, was conveyed from the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) to Koforidua. His manager, Papa Loggy, who confirmed his death had revealed that that the late artist had not been well for some time now and had been in and out of the hospital.

His body has been transferred to the KBTH morgue. He was 44.
