Wife of Lance Corporal Wilfred Dodzi Amuzu who escaped a murder-suicide by her husband last Monday in Tema has been consoled by the Ghana police.
A delegation from the Police administration, led by the Director General Welfare, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Bright Oduro; the Director General Finance, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Patrick Akolgo; Director General Legal, ACP Edward Tabiri and Director, Homicide Unit, CID Headquarters, Superintendent William Sedoame, invited the widow to express their deepest condolence to madam Raffa Iddrisu.
On behalf of the Police Service, an amount of GH¢2,000 was said to have been presented to her for her upkeep at the Tema Regional Police Command where the meeting was held on Thursday.
The widow who was in attendance with her uncle, John Mensah Agbezhor and niece Alfred Boamah, expressed their gratitude to the police administration for its kind gesture.
Last Monday, the country was thrown into a state of shock when news of an apparent murder-suicide emerged from Tema, where a police man had shot his mother-in-law and two children before turning the gun on himself.
