Rawlings, Kufuor et al shows up at final funeral rites for Hajia Nneba

Ex-presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor on Sunday joined president John Mahama and his family to commemorate the final funeral rite of their mother Hajia Abiba Nneba.

Hajia Nneba who died earlier on in June this year, was buried in Busunu in the West Gonja District of the Northern Region.

The final funeral rite ceremony in Accra started with a special Islamic prayers which was led by Sheikh Nuhu Shaributu, the national chief Imam witnessed a huge presence of top politicians from the leading political parties, NDC supporters, chiefs and queen mothers, members of the diplomatic corps and celebrities.

Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s vice presidential candidate led the party’s delegation to the funeral.
