Flagbearer of the National Democratic Party (NDP) and former first lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has once again condemned the incumbent NDC over the economic hardship in the country.
Konadu Rawlings argues that Ghanaians, especially the youth, are bearing the brunt of the NDC government’s ‘incompetent’ management of Ghana, stating the government has run out of ideas.
“More than 60 percent of this country’s population are youth, but why is it that, majority of the population is suffering? Parents are suffering, we adults are also suffering and anybody who will tell you that, they are comfortable; they are part of the stealing,” the former first lady stated.
The statements were made when she was addressing a rally at Ziope to outdoor the party’s parliamentary nominee for the Agortime-Ziope constituency in the Volta region, David Sunu, K onaduRawlings. Meanwhile, Konadu Rawlings also paid a courtesy call on some traditional leaders in the constituency to formally introduce the parliamentary nominee to them.
