Hiplife artiste, Nii Addo Quaynor, known in showbiz as Tinny has condemned the panelists of Montie FM who were jailed by the supreme court over death threats.
Speaking on Viasat1, the “Makola Kwakwe” hit-maker revealed that he fully supported the court's decision to convict the panelists arguing that they should have been granted a long jail term.
“ I think it is not right for you to threaten somebody like that. So, yes they should face the punishment, they should know that one plus one is two. You call a spade a spade. I see nothing wrong about what is happening because if it is me, I should know better. If they should go for six years, I do not mind,” Tinny argued.
Meanwhile, some top officials of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been seen visiting the Montie FM panelists at the Nsawam prison. They include the brother of President John Mahama, Ibrahim Mahama, deputy education minister, Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa and the communications minister, Dr. Omane Boamah.
