It has been over a week since the Supreme Court sentenced the Montie 3 to four months imprisonment for contempt.
Montie FM presenter Salifu Maase, aka, ‘Mugabe’ and panellists Alistair Nelson and Godwin Ako Gunn had reportedly threatened to kill judges who ruled that the Electoral Commission should delete the names of 53,000 NHIS cards registrants from the voters register.
Here are the top Ghanaians who have visited them at the Nsawam prison where they are serving their sentence:
1. Ekow Spio-Garbrah
The minister of trade and industry visited them on Thursday to solidairise with them.
2. Dzifa Attivor
Former transport minister Dzifa Ativor visited them with the members of the Women for Mahama group.
3. Ibrahim Mahama
The president's brother and CEO of Engineers & Planners is said to have visited the Montie 3 at Nsawam to console them.
4. Edward Omane Boamah
The minister of communications reportedly visited them in the company of other National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives.
5. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa
The deputy minister for education is another high-profile NDC member who is said to have visited the Montie 3.
