NDC calls Akua Donkor a liar following Pajero-house-gift claim

Deputy communication director for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kwaku Boahen, says claims that President Mahama gave two Pajero vehicles and a house to Akua Donkor are untrue.

Founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor had revealed in an interview with Adom FM in Accra that the president gave her the gifts after flagbearer of the Progressive People Party (PPP) Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum allegedly took a vehicle he had given her.

“The NDC is not known for sharing items to its supporters, as a social democratic party, we would rather invest the monies in areas that would benefit everywhere.”  he said.

The NDC deputy communication director stated that the GFP founder has cocoa farms and employs the services of an accountant who is a master’s degree holder, adding that he wouldn’t be shocked if Akua Donkor buys a car and puts up a house.
