Anas Aremeyaw Anas has revealed the conditions under which he and his Tiger Eye team would open an investigation into the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
In an interview with Lady Gee Of Amansan FM UK based in USA, the investigative journalist said he would only open a probe into the EC if he finds "anything worth investigating" at the commission.
The journalist who is known for his wild exposes also stressed that he and his team would always consider the interest of the general public before investigating any institution.
The Electoral Commission has been under pressure from various factions for many reasons; the commission came under fire for a change of logo and brand image, the commission was also recently sent to court over irregularities in the voter's register.
Anas Aremeyaw Anas, however, reiterated that his team had the capacity to investigate the EC if need be.
Anas’ last investigative piece for the country showed some 22 lower court judges and 12 High Court judges captured on allegedly taking bribes to influence justice.
