Akuliga told YEN in an interview that he was ecstatic about his result, describing it as "a good morale booster".

When asked what university he planned to attend, he said: "Not really sure...I am waiting for God to lead me to the right path."

Akuliga added that he was still undecided on what he wanted to be in future.

"It's really hard to decide. There are so many options and any of them can determine what my life would be like...so the decision isn't an easy one to make."

YEN understands that about 26 students of Prempeh College had 8 As, while scores of students in other schools also recorded straights As.
