Thousands of NDC supporters have gathered at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium for the incumbent government’s campaign launch this [Sunday] afternoon.
In all about 40,000 members of the National Democratic Congress are expected to be at the event. The theme of the launch is “Changing Lives, Transforming Ghana”.
President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur will be officially presented as flagbearer and running mate ahead of the December polls.
Ghana goes to the polls to elect president and parliamentarians for the next four years on December 7.

President Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party are the frontrunners in the elections.
Nana Akufo-Addo is making his third consecutive chase at the Flagstaff House while President Mahama, who ascended the throne after the demise of his boss John Atta Mills in 2012, will be making a second term attempt.
