"Who killed Atta Mills" posters pop up at NDC campaign

The campaign launch of the governing National Democratic Congress at the Cape Coast Stadium has started.  But even as speakers are about mounting the campaign platform, posters with the inscription; '"Who killed Atta Mills" have popped up in the home region of the late professor.

Checks reveal these posters can be spotted across various places like Pedu junction, Abura, Moree barrier, Aggrey Memorial SHS, Cape Coast Takoradi highway and even at the campaign grounds of the Cape Coast stadium.

It is unclear the reason behind the emergence of the posters, but reports say some natives of the Central region, who are upset about the way the late President died are probably behind the pasting of the posters. Earlier, there were claims that the party was capitalising on the death of the late President for political gains.

But the Director of Communications for the NDC’s 2016 Campaign, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, denied those claims, saying the party was launching its 2016 campaign in the Central Region because it is in the interest of the party.
