Shatta Wale to boycott 2017 VGMAs

Shatta Wale says he will not be part of the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. 

According to Shatta Wale, his decision follows disputes with organizer of the yearly ceremony, Charterhouse over the submission of his records.

“I will not submit my works for (2017) Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. They [Charterhouse] rejected my submission last year so I won’t submit next year,” he revealed on MTVbase.com.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale says he will change his mind if fans insist he submits his songs for the VGMAs.
