Kumawood star LilWin has revealed that he was prevented from performing at Shatta Wale’s Peace Campaign Concert which took place in Kumasi over the weekend.
The actor in a radio interview on Pluzz FM in Accra, claimed Shatta Wale’s team told him not to mount the stage to perform because Shatta Wale was ready to start his set.
“This is the second time this has happened. The manager is creating enemies for Shatta. Why would Shatta suffer to be a star, and those earning a living off the stardom create enemies for him. And if it’s Shatta himself doing that, he must put a stop to it because it won’t help him. One can’t be famous forever,” the actor said.
Lilwin added that the incident has led to him deciding not to feature Shatta Wale anymore on a new track he is working on.
“I’m not going to feature him on the song anymore. I even called him and he said he was ready but I’m not going to do the song anymore. What the manager did has made me lose interest in the collaboration.”
The actor went on to say that big music stars disregarding him will not affect his stream of income because he only sings for fun and not money.
