GRIDCo says Ghana will not suffer power cuts

The Ghana grid company limited (GRIDCo) has assured Ghanaians of uninterrupted supply of electricity in the coming weeks.

According to GRIDCo, Ghana has extended its  electricity generation capacity.  The assurance by GRIDCo follows past weeks of power cuts across the country, a development which got President Mahama stating that government has not yet declared a load shedding timetable.

Ghana is documented to have faced a severe load-shedding exercise in 2015 - a development which saw thousands of jobs collapse and foreign investment dwindle.
