NPP orders Afoko to apologise or risk losing chairman seat

The opposition new patriotic party (NPP) has revealed that the only way its suspended national chairman, Paul Afoko, will be accepted back into the party is when he confesses his sins and asks for forgiveness.

Head of the party's constitutional committee, Professor Mike Ocquaye, in an interview with Joy FM argued that the NPP cannot re-admit Paul Afoko if he does not show remorse for his actions.

The comments by Prof. Mike Ocquaye insists follows the dismissal of Paul Afoko's  case by a human rights court in Accra on Monday. Reports by StarrFM online show the court saying the plaintiff had “no case.”

Meanwhile, Paul Afoko has maintained his resolve to appeal the ruling of the court even to the highest level of arbitration.
