The petition book opened by the Progressive People's Party (PPP) to compel President Mahama not to grant the Montie 3 pardon has been stolen, it has been reported.
The book is said to have been stolen by three men who pretended to sign the petition, according to a report by citifmonline.com.
The PPP is said to have filed a complaint at the Nima police station to that effect.
The petition aimed to counter one opened by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to compel the president to release the Montie 3 who were jailed for four months by the Supreme Court last month.
Montie FM presenter, Salifu Maase, aka, ‘Mugabe’, and panellists Alistair Nelson and Godwin Ako Gunn, were jailed for threatening to kill judges.
