A Nigerian singer, Sean Tizzle, has urged male celebrities not to accept condoms from women before sex.
The 26-year-old was commenting of the spate of baby mamas in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
He said he did not support abortion and so there was the need to be careful in order to prevent an unwanted baby.
Tizzle said it was important that the condoms entertainers use were safe because some women deliberately punch holes in them so that they can get pregnant.
“I was with a girl and she told me that females put holes in condoms just to hook guys and have babies with them. I was surprised, and that’s why they say when girls hand you condom, don’t use it.
“It’s better you have yours because some of them will punch holes in it and you won’t know because you are already in the mood. So, in such situation, what do you do? Would you just say she should go and kill the baby? No. But it’s good to get married and do it the right way,” he said.
Tizzle is one of the fastest-rising African singers at the moment.
