CLOSSAG calls off strike action, signs MOU with government

The Civil and Local Government Service Staff Association of Ghana (CLOSSAG), has called off its three-week-long industrial strike.

The decision to call off the strike follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the leadership of CLOGSAG and the minister of employment and labour relations, Haruna Iddrisu on Thursday, August 18.

Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG,  Dr. Isaac  Bampoe – Addo, said they took the decision because of the promise of government to address their concerns on the payment of market premiums.
