Montie 3: Asiedu Nketiah predicts NDC will lose 2016 polls

General secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has revealed that Mahama's decision to pardon the Montie 3 will lead to his loss in the December elections.

In an interview with Citi FM, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah entreated members of the opposition NPP to jubilate over Mahama's decision predicting that the president's action will definitely lead to NPPs victory in the general elections.

“If the president is conducting himself in ways that will lead to him losing the elections, is that not a cause for celebrations?" he asked.

Meanwhile, the opposition NPP has in a statement described Mahama's decision to free the Montie 3 as an “endorsement of behaviours unacceptable in our society”.
