"Stop begging to become president", Mahama tells Akufo Addo

John Dramani Mahama, flag-bearer of the New Democratic Party has asked the flag-bearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo asking him to stop begging to be President.

According to the incumbent President of Ghana, the country does not need a trial and error president as the current state of the nation cannot allow that.

Mahama was speaking in Bimbilla during his campaign tour of the northern regions.

According to the president, Ghana deserves a leader who can unite the country. He took another swipe at Nana Akufo-Addo claiming that a leader who cannot unite his political party is not worthy of becoming a president of Ghana.

"We are looking for a leader who can unite Ghana and not a leader who will divide Ghana, if you can’t unite your own party, how do you unite a nation," President Mahama mentioned amid cheers from his supporters.
