President Mahama in kenya for 3-day Tokyo conference

President Mahama has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya ahead of the 6th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD VI).

The maiden edition of this conference will see President Mahama hold bilateral talks with the prime minister of  Japan, Shinzo Abe. Mahama will also join in discussions over the best ways to boost the role of the private sector in Africa's development.

There will also be a special high-level engagement with Africa's private sector and their counterparts from Japan, with discussions on the promotion of structural economic transformation and industrialisation expected to be held.

President Mahama is expected back home on Monday, August 29.
