There’s been so much rave about the Camon C9, the latest device from the Camon Series, a photography dedicated series from TECNO Mobile. So much that we couldn’t wait to unveil the supposed awesomeness.
At first sight, the pack of the Camon C9 reminds you of a super hero movie. The device spots a 5.5 inch Full HD screen, and comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, with HiOS.
True to the buzz, it also has a 13MP AF back camera with flash, and a 13MP front camera with flash. We all know what that implies for the selfie lovers. At the top of the front-side, there is the flash by the left side, and the 13 MP Auto-Focus camera in the middle.
The speaker grill is right above the whole setup, and the menu buttons are located at the bottom, still in the front. The earphone jack is located at the top, and on the flip-side is the 13MP camera with flash underneath. Also below that is the second speaker grill for music.
In the left-hand corner underneath the phone is an allowance made for prying the cover open, the charger jack comes next and the pin-prick hole at the other end is the microphone for making calls.
Upon prying it open, you discover a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery, two micro-SIM slots (both LTE capable)
Looking further into the box, we find some things underneath the compartment - the usual accessories: The Camon C9 smartphone,
- A Warranty card
- The USB Cable
- The Charger
- The Earpiece
- A Pouch for the phone found in a mystery black box
- A user manual
- Warranty stickers
- Palmchat leaflet and,
- An ejector pin (designed for extracting your SIM cards).
The 13MP front camera is such an improvement in the front camera from the Camon C8’s 5MP.
Another amazing feature we hear it has is the eye print scanner that enables you unlock phone, apps, payments, etc. Challey! This should be a great add-on if found true. However, we need to see things for ourselves, and bring you the full review very soon.
