Yvonne Nelson has said in an interview that she wonders if she is the only person in the movie industry since Ghanaians constantly keep picking on her.
The award winning actress and producer told MxGee on Hitz FM over the weekend that it is time Ghanaians turn their attention to other public figures in the country because everything cannot be about her all the time.
“People are still concerned about who I’m hanging out with, what I’m wearing, where I’m sleeping, what I’m posting on Instagram, I don’t understand,” she lamented.
She went on to say: “Charley, we are many so can they also talk about other people? I’m just tired.”
However, the actress admitted to the irony that people talking about her played a major role in the success of her career.
“I enjoyed it. I think it's helped me whether negative or positive because it’s all part of the job. I love it. Sometimes I wake up and I don’t see anything about me and I’m like “I’m I safe? Is everything OK?”
Yvonne Nelson is currently working on the second season of her TV series Heels and Sneakers and uses every opportunity to promote the show which she hopes will be a massive success.
