Philip Mensah, a Ghanaian man from New Juaben Municipality in the Eastern Region, has revealed that he cannot stay for two hours without visiting a cemetery.
Mensah, who claimed to have slept in graveyards for 30 years, said his ordeal began when he approached a spiritualist, Togbe Azakli, for power to enable him discover “hidden secrets like when one will die, one’s future, how to retrieve stolen items, how to make spiritual money”, among other spiritual gifts.
He said the spiritualist asked him to leave his house and move into a cemetery where he could commune with the dead and gain the spiritual power he sought.
He told Adom TV that although he had long completed the assignment given to him by the spiritualist, he had become addicted to sleeping in cemeteries.
“I cannot spend even two hours of my life without visiting a cemetery. I battle with different spirits...life has become unbearable for me because I cannot even stay with the living and make money out of the powers I have,” he lamented.
Mensah added that all the efforts he had made to reintegrate himself properly into society had failed, urging Ghanaians to be cautious about seeking spiritual powers, especially those he said were not from God.
