Police brutality against criminals and even unsuspecting persons have been on the rise in Ghana, but brutality against the police is almost unheard of in the country.

However, in what seems like a bizarre mob attack, Constable Emmanuel Baafi of the Kpone Police Force was brutalised by a group of young men reportedly having been numbered around 15.

According to a report by AtinkaFM, the young constable was on duty at S. F. International located at the Freezone Enclave in the area, when he was attacked around 2 AM on Monday, 30 August.

The gory photos of the police officer showed how the crooks subjected him to a severe beating and disfigured his face.
