Obinim dragged to court by ECG for illegal connection

The woes of embattled general overseer of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim is far from over as the Accra East branch of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) drags him to court for illegal connection.

The loss control coordinator of the Accra East regional office, Jonathan Asante, reports that Bishop Obinim owed a total of GH¢27,000 on his old post-paid metres.

Jonathan Asante reveals that upon disconnecting Obinim at his residence, guest house and television station OB TV, Obinim went on to illegally connect three post-paid meters bringing his total debt to GH¢217,000.
