Ghanaian music producer, George Forest has died.
According to the publicist for the producer, Isaac Yaw Owusu, George was taken ill and admitted at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi Tuesday, August 30, 2016.
But he died Wednesday dawn. His publicist further stated that George's sickness was on and off.
"... the unfortunate happened. It’s sad news and as I speak, we are at the hospital readying to take him to the morgue,” he told to NYDJLive.com.
George won multiple awards as a sound engineer and produced for most of the biggest gospel musicians.
His immense contribution to the Ghana music industry cannot be over emphasised. He is also credited for a number of hit Highlife songs including Nana Acheampong`s "Anka Ebeye Den Na Aye Wo Ya".
