Brazil President Dilma Rousseff has been impeached from office by the Senate for manipulation of budget.
In all 61 senators in favour of her impeachment, whiles 20 voted against. The results means the Senate got the required votes needed to remove her from office.
Although Madam Rousseff denied the allegations and charge, her 13 years in power came to an end Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the acting President Michel Temer is expected to completed the term of Ms Rousseff, which ends on January 1, 2019.
Ms Rousseff was suspended in May by the Senate at it was found that she was guilty of moving funds between government budgets, which is illegal under Brazilian law.
She fought the allegations, which she said amounted to a coup d’etat.
