When your cup is getting full, there's nothing you can do to stop it.
Two highway robbers met their arrest after they forgot to change the "screensaver" on a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 mobile device they had earlier stolen.
The two suspects, Mohammed Mamudou, 18, and Abubakari Mohammed 20, reportedly attacked and robbed some passengers of a minibus at Nuoryiri, near Banda Nkwanta on the Bole-Bamboi highway in the Northern Region.
The two allegedly stripped that passengers of their mobile phones and an unspecified amount of money. This attack happened on August 30, 2016, according to media reports.
However, when the two crooks tried selling one of the stolen mobile phones to a woman in Banda Nkwanta, they made their biggest mistake.
The woman, who would have purchased the phone, noticed, upon inspection of the device, that the photograph at the background of the phone was that of one of the passengers who were robbed earlier.
The woman reportedly raised an alert which led to some residents of the area grabbing the two thieves before handing them over to the police.
ASP Mr David Dogbatse Azumah, the Bole Police Commander, confirmed the arrest to the Daily Graphic.
He also revealed that upon interrogation, the two suspects confirmed that they were among the six armed gang that robbed the passengers on board the mini bus on August 30, 2016.
The police have reportedly launched a manhunt for the remaining four.
