President John Dramani Mahama is expected in the Central region this week for a five-day campaign tour as part of efforts to seek votes for re-election in the December elections.
A statement from the presidency shows that Mahama will begin his tour with the inauguration of the Agona Abodom community day senior high school.
From there, he will visit 16 constituencies including the Cape Coast South, Ekumfi, Asikuma Odoben Brakwa, Ajumako Enyan Essiam, Bisease, Awutu Senya East, Awutu Senya West, and Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem constituencies.
President Mahama was recently enskinned a sub-chief at during his campaign tour at Tatale in the Northern region. The enskinment was conducted by the paramount chief of the Tamale traditional area, Obore Gariba Yankosor II, who also gifted the president with a bull, 100 tubers of yam and two doves.
