President Mahama was welcomed by a cheerful crowd at the Agona Swedru market ahead of his campaign in the Central region on Monday.

The president is on a five-day campaign tour of the Central region as part of efforts to seek votes for re-election in the December elections.

Mahama's first stop saw him commission the Community Junior High School at Agona Abodom.

Mahama's tour will see him visit 16 constituencies including the Cape Coast South, Ekumfi, Asikuma Odoben Brakwa, Ajumako Enyan Essiam, Bisease, Awutu Senya East, Awutu Senya West, and Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem constituencies.
