The campaign of promises continues unabated as Ghana goes to the polls in December to elected president and parliamentarians.
President John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday promised the people of Abura Constituency in the Central Region one house, one meter if he is retained in power.
He opined that his government has already procured over 1,500 meters for the project and will need the people to keep him in power to ensure execution of his policy.
The president made the promise on his second day of his Central Region tour which has seen him visit the Abura and Kotokuraba markets to interact with market women and other prospective voters.
The NPP’s flagbearer has been insulted and criticised by his political opponents for making weird and absurd promises. One of Nana Addo’s popular promises is the “ one village, one dam, and one district, one factory policies”.
